If I Was From Paris...

...I would say Ooh la la, la la la la la.

Yep, she played Paris along with all the favorites, including closing the show with Medicine (Adam's fav).

Grace Potter and the Nocturnals put on an amazing show Sunday night.  It was their first time to headline at the Ryman, and we were there to see it.

Damn you, Grace and those legs!  Not to mention, the girl's got moves (in 4-5 inch heels, at that!).  No wonder Adam says she's his girlfriend....

As much as I enjoyed Grace Potter, I just as equally enjoyed the opening act - The Carolina Chocolate Drops.
They are a bluegrass band with a little secret weapon - a beatboxer!  The guy on the far end doesn't play an instrument - he beatboxes!  It was SO cool and added so much to the sound of the group.

Along with beatboxing, the lady had some pipes on her and can play the heck out of a kazoo (she made it sound like a freakin' trumpet!), not to mention, the guy on the far right clinked two rib bones together like they were spoons.  I was in awe! Definitely check this band out!

Next up: Avett Brothers in October!
