Fingerstaches and Friends

Sunday night was spent celebrating Nicole's birthday.

We met for dinner and drinks at Rumours East in honor of the birthday girl.  I just loved the outdoor area there.

Ponytail holders and bug spray might have been needed,

and a glass of red wine just possibly got spilt on a beautiful white/cream dress, but.......

there were fingerstaches!!

These girls were so much fun!

After dinner, Val and I met Adam and Bob (who were having dinner and drinks at a bar close by) for ice cream at Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams.  Originally from Ohio, Jeni's just opened a East Nashville location, and it was delicious!
They offer so many unique flavors, and you can sample as many as you like.  I had one scoop of lemon blueberry and one scoop of bourbon butter pecan (my favorite of the two).  Adam tried their Queen City Cayenne (which he said was really good) but settled on...

...a GINORMOUS buckeye sundae - essentially vanilla ice cream with buckeyes (peanut butter balls) crumbled up and mixed in, topped with whip cream and a chocolate covered peanut bar.  Needless to say, he couldn't finish it.

Val had a scoop of buttermilk strawberry and a scoop of lemon blueberry, and Bob had brambleberry.
Val and Bob with fingerstaches - Bob wanted in on the fingerstache fun too.  Ha!

Such a fun night with friends!

  1. LOVED your 'staches' and LOVE Jeni's! My fav so far is the golden ale and apricot. It has a slight ale taste but finishes with sweet fruit!

  2. good Lord, worst pictures of me ever. But who cares, it was a fun night! We almost went to Jeni's after too, but didn't know if it was open, so opted to walk to Pied Piper. I'm dying to try it!

Don't be shy...
