A New World Record

In a matter of 2.5 seconds, Beauford DESTROYED his brand new toy.

The rope in his mouth did have a ball on each end, but as you can see, there are the remnants of the balls in the lower right corner of the picture.  Literally, within minutes (five minutes - tops!)....

We thought we did good and bought a really sturdy, durable toy.  We thought wrong!

How is this possible?!?

  1. Wow! My dogs won't even play with toys. Have you tried Googling for toys that can whistand tough chewing. And although not funny, he does look pretty happy with himself :)

  2. Well, the rope is left:) That part is sturdy! We can only let Molly puppy have Penn or Wilson tennis balls because she destroys every other kind. He looks like he had fun! I think it was a good buy:)

  3. They just don't make toys like they used to! ;-) And yeah, if he had fun while destroying it, then it was worth it, right? We came here via the Blog Hop and can't wait to come back!

  4. Aww Shannon, we went through so many toys before we found something that Duece wouldn't destroy. It does piss you off though...

  6. I found your blog on yesterday's blog hop. Your blog is great! We've got a miniature schnauzer and he chews like crazy. Tennis balls don't last long in our house either. Sturdy rope bones or rubber toys like Kongs usually do the trick!

  8. I feel your pain! Rocco has destroyed at least 3 Kong toys, the supposedly "undestructible" toys...we've pretty much given up hope of him not chewing up his toys :)
